Well, I became a widower this past Spring. I thought folks who remember me, may want to know. Hanging in there.

ty friends. It's tough and tough on the children. They are in their 20's and missing their mom terribly .. i mean terribly.

I lost my mother while in my early twenties. Thirty six years ago. I still miss her terribly. I tell everyone that's putting off visiting their mother and such."hey man, you only get one mom". I am really sorry Steven. There is nothing that I can say that will make it any better. Time will never help either. I always live in the memories and carry the pain and suffering of my losses with pride. If that's the price I must pay to have been that close to such a wonderful person.... I'd pay the price twice without question.

A lot of wisdom, there, brother. Ty.

Sorry this is such a late response Steven, but I am very sorry for your loss. As you may remember me mentioning, I lost my wife in a car accident in 2009. Unfortunately, the pain doesn't go away, it just dulls over time.

Hang in the buddy!

Hey Musky, good to see you. I hope life is treating you well. This thread simmers on the back burner with little attention. However, it's still cooking. :) After eight years, it only needs stirred now and then. I'm glad you took the effort to stick a spoon in it.

After almost five months of inactivity,is anybody still watching this topic? If so, Hi all!
Entire place has gotten quiet :(
Hopefully this thread never dies!!

Hey NA and Olb, good seeing you guys again! How is life treating you guys? I'm older but still waiting for the wiser.

Unfortunately, I don't think the new format went over very well. The app doesn't compare to Tapatalk and the layout is too confusing to find the forums you want. IMO

Everything good here Musky. Retirement is so close that I think I'm going to make it. I can't see myself not working but I think I'll quit the carpenter gig. Been doing that for 52 years and It's starting to bore me. :) I plan on continuing my lawn care business. Do all of it myself like the old times and hibernate across the winters. Eight months on and four off should work out nicely.

And how is Musky? Are you keeping yourself busy and out of trouble?

I'm been great! Yea, some bad choices that led to bad results. Still love this place, and this thread is never allowed to die.
Incredible thread is where I started following this forum religiously. Incredibly fast eight years it was. I think it's almost nine.
The OG Incredible thread is 9 years old. This thread is right over 8 years old as it was started right after phone finally released in 2010

Oh man, the misery expressed in the OG thread.... The wait was well worth it but was a killer. The clever humor of the suffering made the wait tolerable. It always amazes me the number of long standing and staff members that cut their teeth in that thread.
