My wife just got a new phone last week, she thought that the Inc. would be too much for her and she decided not to hold out for the Iphone (I know, I know) she ended up getting the palm pre plus ( with me hyping it as much as possible). She likes it, personally I think it is ok, but at least she'll still be busy playing with her phone she'll leave me alone with mine ;)

Sounds like a defective unit, there have been reports about the "pink" screen in the thread all day, get it replaced asap it is not supposed to have the pink hue!

Really, I thought the screen was much better than the Droids I looked at. The edges are very crisp and the contrast makes the colors really pop. As far as the whites looking pink I know others have reported that but I haven't seen that at all. I'd try adjusting the display and/ or taking it into a store.

I'd actually look into the locked forum on this one - - someone had this issue yesterday, sort of - - he got an INC and so did his dad, and his dad's screen had the pink thing going on. I'd PM him for specifics, he might have exchanged it or something. That's not normal, though, and might be returnable. There were side by side images of both phones screens, so that might help finding it.

and Second: I've been waiting for this phone for how long? Playing with my Incredible has been the most anticipated event since losing my virginity! No way I'm going to delay that any longer!!! :);)

I am actually having a problem with hitting the volume keys when I turn my phone sideways....other than that...nothing wrong. I'll get used to it eventually!

I luv my phone! :)

I don't think it's a widespread problem. If everyone who has this problem posted about it I would say it's affecting less than 5% of the posters.
 
Sup fellas, just want to add to the banter! I LOVE MY INCREDIBLE!!! It really has lived up to it's hype imo. It is sleek looking (been called pretty 3x already lol), fast, smooth, aerodynamic, 0-60 in 4.6 secs, and can fly around the world faster than Chuck Norris. I love this thing, lol. :D

For you guys who switched from the Eris, this uses the same battery, so I can use my seidio 1750 mah extended battery in my Inc!! That's just icing on the already iced cake.

I feel ya, I'm married with one kid, just wish I could get my wife to commit to a schedule. LOL Have fun with your phone.
 
FINALLEEE !! it has arrived. I Charged it up and took a ride to the local VZW store to get some goodies in the meantime. They had balloons; everyone was wearing t-shirts that said Incredible; they asked if they could help me and I said do you have any accessories for the INC; she said yes, "you have the phone already?" I said yea; got in the mail little while ago sucka. She was pissed; walked me over to the accessories and walked away. Anyways; I heard one rep say they just sold out of them; they had 67 phones. Sorry for my last VZW rep story for a long time. ENJOY!!!!
 
Got my phone from BB after work! It looks real nice. No problems at BB. They were able to add the Verizon TEC insurance; but they add to go directly to the Verizon site to do it.

Went cross the street to the Verizon Corp store and picked up the last Black and Red hard cover. The cover looks real good, it's darker than any of the pictures and I don't notice any added weight or bulk.

I asked if the phone + cover will fit into the dock thats coming and I was told yes!

I have not played with the phone except for the leap feature. I just LOVE that feature. The phone is charging now.

Where can I get cheap data cables for the Incredible?

Try downloading Astro file manager,then look for the video then choose the default video player...let me know this should work. You may have to select and hold the file for the play options to appear i can't remember.
 
I'm having a lot of fun with the phone including using the speech to text for messages and surfing the web. Wish my case was here this thing is covered with fingerprints now.

I have yet to figure out why I can't get my google calendar to sync.
 
Wow!! Glad to hear all these great stories. I had to wait to order mine through csr so I would have to wait till the new ship date of may. I ordered and since needed a supervisor approval they said they would place the order but it would be pending untill a supervisor reviewed it. I thought it would be stuck in que forever! I checked my order number on line all day and it didn't come up :( none the less I just received my confirmation e mail that its been shipped!! Wiiiiiiii!! Its been a long two weeks since I discovered this phone and now I have to wait two more days!! Darn!! Jk ;)

I got it to work, it wasn't that it was unable to find the videos, but it couldn't play them. It wasn't a problem with my player, but my encoder. I ended up using Realplayer SP to download and encode them as for iPod and works wonderful. Btw, I got a 16GB class 2 card (Sandisk) and the videos I have played on there have been fine, no lag and pixelation is almost nill. I'm assuming the issues with using class 2 is for HD video. But I plan on downloading Astro anyway, thanks;)
