Argh so today, i"m feeling a little under the weather, as I just arrived at work I had to "do some paperwork" and my stomach feeling like a mess puts me in quite a hurry as I put the seat down, sploosh goes my phone.... I usually bring it in and catch up on several sites while doing said paperwork. The phone was in there for half a second and is now residing in the altitude chamber we have. Awful start to the day....

Don't forget to disassemble it as much as possible and stick it in rice for a few days. That has saved many phones in the past for me. Good Luck!

My sympathies Goat. Hope it recovers and all is right with the world again.

Me too, first time this has happened to me, usually very careful with it.. :(

Rice will be the third part of the process, thankfully I have access to some great tech and won't have to go that route! And thanks guys for the sympathetic ear! Musky did you ever find out what happened to that post?

It's 100% dry now and fully functional. It was in the altitude chamber for 30 mins. so I'm confident that the moisture was pulled out

Glad to hear it! Does the altitude chamber take all the pressure and moisture out of the air?

Yeah, I didn't realize there was an extensive forum glitch when I pm'd you. Many posts were lost to the ether

So I was able to play around with my buddies DX yesterday..... the screen is most unimpressive... huge but not as sharp as my Inc.

Yeah its funny, I had an Eris for two weeks before I got the DInc and when I upgraded the screen was beautiful. When I looked at my brothers eris screen the other day it was so washed out and ugly. :o Then my buddy got a Droid X, its HUGE but the screen wasn't as impressive as mine. :D

Yeah the altitude chamber changes the atmospeheric pressure and acts like a vaccum, pulls the moisture and air out of anything. And wow that glitch killed a lot of posts

rice in bag. altitude chamber.

I got my own secret.
