Droid Incredible Receives New Packaging

yeah I just opened a account with VZ yesterday too get the DI but it won`t be shipping until the 6/16:( so I will have to wait and see if there is any differences with the packaging;)
 
I didn't notice anything different from this box than the last one. It is the same. The SD card I recieved this time is different than the one from last time. It comes with it's own reader. A "MobileMate Micro Memory Card Reader." It also came with a few extra Verizon pamphlets that I didn't receive last time.

But the box and branding is exactly the same. Maybe I received it before the new packaging was issued or something. IDK.

EDIT: I did notice a little something different. Inside the box at the main bottom is different. Where the charger and booklet is located. Instead of having "3 tiers" (phone, battery, charger,) the new box has two (phone, battery and charger together.) Not sure if I'm making sense. Lol. But that's the only difference I've found regarding the packaging.
 
I didnt get a 2gb card, but i won mine on vz facebook moms day contest, plus i had just bought a 16 for my gimpy eris, so i didnt mind.

Yeah probably just minor adjustments, and not what people are thinking (drastically changing the entire box)

You must not know how this works. You DO realize if they were to rework ANYTHING technical(And yes, that includes "battery and signal" aka the battery cell and radio, that they MUST run it pass through the FCC again right? How else do you think we knew the battery model #/capacity so much earlier than the release date? Sorry to bust your bubble.:rolleyes:

WE know that. It's a reason why he should have a chance to answer the questions posed, or he should be banned. FUD like this makes my DI angry. :D

Repeated FUD like this is against the rules.
 
"New Packaging." That's what that says right? The phone itself IS NOT NEW PACKAGING. Packaging = the shit the phone comes in.
 
No "Droid" packaging; but I did get the 2GB card. I ended up using the 4GB out of my BlackBerry until I can get something bigger.
 
The heck with package, the beauty is within for sure. I bought my Incredible @ BB on April 30, wanted a 4g card so they gave me $13.00 credit from the 2g. Thought that was darn good of them. They set up my phone within minutes and was on time for work. Should have called out since I had to work 6 days straight. All I wanted to do was play with my new phone. :(

I emailed VZW about it and they called the store i bought it from and just told me to go in and i got the free 2gb card they offered when buying the phone. I bought an incredible the day they came out and walked into the verizon store today and they gladly gave me the sd card.
