What exactly does this mean anyway? I thought Android source code had been available since the very beginning. Does this have something to do with Blur, and hopefully the ability to remove it cleanly if we so choose now?

I think this will help with the rom's that are released though. I'd think this will give us much more stable ROMs since the source is there to work with now.
