Root Droid X/2 Overclock App - Easy & Noob friendly ;)

What file(s) can I view to see my stock voltages? I know these numbers have been posted here, but when I use this app to view my after reboot (back to stock cpu/voltages) they're different than the number posted here. So I want to know what system files or other application will tell me what my actual numbers are. Also, the "back to stock" voltages used in this app - Droid Overclock are different than the "back to stock" voltages used in DX/D2 Overclocker. Which on has the REAL back to stock numbers?

This does not give me the stock cpu/voltage settings. This only gives a value after you have overclocked. I want to see the stock values.

Funny thing happened to me. I had to have my current X replaced because I was having issues with it. I was able to run it at 1400 mhz at any voltage level. New like new replacement freezes at anything more than 1250mhz even at the high voltage. What a jip. I know there are differences between same processors, but wow this new one is weak. My last drod 1 was like that too.

weaksauce.

So no one has this answer or can point me to where it's already been posted? How did the developers of these apps determine what the defaults are?

Put the new sbf from tbh last night and can't find this app on the market today to reinstall?

Edit:

Disregard, put apex 1.2.1 on and it's showing now

hmm i am on the leak as well and i cant find it in my market either. even after clearing my data in market.

I know there were market issues with leaked froyo. Maybe there's issues with 2.2.1 as well. I know I had stuff missing when I installed Rubix Blurry rom, which has android 2.2.1 system files, but not bootloader. I assumed it was due to something else.

The people having problems finding it on the market should try the link he has on the first page. See if that work. I have been using it snice day one and is loving this app. Im running hv @ 1.25. 1809 quadrants. Battery life has improved even with hv.

Just installed the latest update. Now it keeps telling me it must be installed from the market. Damn...

Hey just downloaded the app and have been trying some things. What is a safe temperature to run your phone at? Or, what temperature is TOO hot? It got up to 102 degrees so I lowered the MHz. Thanks.

Anybody else using the built-in profile setup and the app not properly determining that your screen is on? I have a profile set up to have the phone run at full speed when the screen is on and at minimum speed when the screen is off. When I turn the phone on, it still goes slow, and the widget displays it still using the screen off profile. I've stopped using JRummy's profiler and went back to allowing SetCPU to handle things. Anybody else having the same issue?

I had similar issues and also went back to SetCPU. Seems like a reasonable compromise for now.

I'm sorry I'm confused: is this app meant to be run WITH SetCPU? Or should Set CPU be uninstalled first? I've got decent performance and stability now with SetCPU (runs at 1.2 GHz, no reboots) so I will probably leave it alone unless there is a significant upside to this app
