Root Droid X automatically boots into clockworkmod

Hey all, whenever I power on my DX it boots into clockworkmod recovery and I have to select "rebbot system " to turn on my phone. Has anyone had any similar problems?

Its supposed to do that. Its so you can always get back into your phone should something bad happen.

Seriously? Turning off the phone then turning it back on and it always boots into recovery mode now? That can't be right. Mine's doing it too. I'm rooted and just installed Fission 2.3.1.

Bootstrapper was designed that way so that if you bricked your phone you could still get back to ClockworkMod. Because there are no button combos you can press/hold to get into clockwork like on most other phones.

There must be something wrong with mine then because it never does, everytime I mess with the framework-res.apk I always have to SBF (like 20 times a day)

If your phone is plugged into the ac charger it will boot into cwm, that's the only time mine reboots into it by itself

That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. Never saw it happen before and I've rebooted a lot. Guess I was never plugged in until today.

hmm that is wierd bc that happens to me as well before i got on ApeX 1.3.0..and actually it has happened sporadically on ApeX but more so when i was on TranQ and ApeX 1.2

I should have clarified guys. Mine does it in the morning since I charge my phone overnight. No plug into ac, no cw.
