Accessories Droid X car dock questions?

the car dock kit for the droid x comes with a little circular disc so you can mount the dock to your dash board. can you buy the disc individually? if so does anyone know where i can get one?

Sorry, I don't have a response for you, but I just wanted to say that mine comes off very frequently. The stickyness doesn't stay...especially when it gets hot. I am interested to find this too.

if the disc ever comes loose, replace the dbl side tape with 3M. Make sure to clean the area you want to mount it with a alcohol pad, as most dashes will have armorall etc on them.

I second this with a condition. The white foam backed double sided tape is a bad idea as it is extremely difficult to remove as the foam will tear and the adhesive will stay stuck. The gray double-sided tape from 3M is hard to remove but can be "rolled" off a surface with some effort. Though, you do have to be careful on a finished interior surface as it may remove the clear layer of the trim.
