Hey guys, I just got my custom Droid X GelaSkin in the mail today and just finished applying it. It turned out great so I thought I'd share with you all :)

Everything in the skin (except the background :p) is custom made in photo shop. If you have anyone questions or have a request for me to make you a custom GelaSkin, let me know. I'm happy to help!

Yep, I used to use an Eris :)

What I did was, I created a high quality image in photoshop with all the logos of different versions of Android. It took a while to clean everything up, but it turned out great, and let me say that the skin feels great when your holding it. Makes the phone super sexy.
 
What do they feel like? They look cool, but I really love the texture of the phone. And for the front, does it go over the entire screen?
 
They feel like a really slick textured skin, almost like a snakeskin. And no they don't go over the front of the screen. Just the sides

Honestly, I really recommend these, they feel like they will protect from scratches and its really cool to have your own design on your phone.
 
I have a Decal girl skin on mine. I got it in their matte/sain finish and it doesn't feel much different than the phone without it. I've never used a Gelaskin, but they have a good reputation for being high quality too.
 
I looked through the ones they offered on the site.. Hmm.. None of them quite suit me though. Don't know what I would choose to make for my own, either.
 
Ditto, you can use any image on their website, you can browse more than just the ones they have prepared for the DX already. If you want to give me some images or some text or something. I can make you one. Definitely worth 15 bucks.

That looks amazing! Is that a wallpaper or does it actually go over the screen? And what company is that? Gelaskin competitor for sure.
 
Thanks. :) It's from DecalGirl. I use them for my NOOK and used to have one on my old bb. I change them every so often because I get bored and they have so many gorgeous skins.

It's wallpaper. All DecalGirl skins come with matching wallpaper.
 
They look like the exact same thing as Gelaskins but they're cheaper :O Shoot, I should have researched more.
 
I felt like getting a matte finish and I liked the image choices a lot better seeing as though I have no good pics so I went for the decal girl.
