Droid X Froyo quadrant score

dang...i must have a good phone:

2.1 - high 1200s...1270ish usually
2.2 - 1534 (not even after a fresh reboot!), then 1487 after a restart
 
My new best is 1552 however the average is probably around 1470 today (still higher than my averages last night)
 
I am curious. I think Droid X has a decent hardware. But why is it that when it is upgraded to Froyo, you don't see much higher Quadrant numbers like you see on just about every other Android phones?

EVERY phone gains significant numbers when they are upgraded to Froyo. Does Froyo in Droid X use JIT? Or perhaps it was using it already?
 
I don't know what my score would've been on 2.1 because I didn't know of QS then but my score on 2.2 so far is 1414.

not for nothing but dont get down, the Captivate and galaxys in general are only running that fast because of the lag fix these phones dont run that fast on froyo alone.
 
mine scored 1373. Really disappointed, no improvement at all from 2.1

Im really disappointed as well with its gfx performance in quadrant, for example the moon spinning only does 10 fps while I have seen galaxy s devices with 50~ fps. This processor must really suck.

It sucks because Im past my 30 days purchase window, but still only about 20 days from receiving the phone. Im mad I waited for froyo thinking it would improve performance instead of just going to fascinate.
 
1297 on stock 2.1

1492 on stock 2.2

Both were high scores. Like everyone else, scores vary all over the place from run to run.

EDIT: have hit 1495, 1499, and 1502 on three consecutive runs. Not sure if things are still optimizing, but it seems the quadrant score is increasing a bit.
 
Keep trying to run full benchmark and it keeps coming back "Internal error during benchmark execution." Started happening after Froyo never before. Any ideas?

I guess it does suck if you base your phone choice solely on a benchmark test. My rooted, over-clocked, Droid 1 is getting in the 1700s. Does it perform better than my Drod X in everyday use? No way! Not even close. Personally the Fascinate felt terrible to me when I tried it out.
