Droid X has same reception problem as iPhone 4?

The video has been edited to say that the problem was his error and that there is nothing wrong with the phone. He probably should have thought about it a little before posting it as the responses here show the potential damage done, but at least they admitted the mistake.

I don't think the thread should be deleted. Some one put up half baked statements and then experienced smart phone users debunked it! Thats what a forum is for. Now some of the people who took the video to hart may see this and realize its not fact

Only an iPhone user would pay Apple to fix this problem with their phone. I am surprised that Apple would send them the 25 cent case they sell for $20 for free. I guess the Android competition is slowly changing the way Apple does business.

And I see that u like most iPhone fan ppl, fail to realize.....(Not saying u are a iPhone fan but u seem to not get it either)

Answer these 2 questions please....

1. How easy is it to reproduce on the iPhone 4?
2. How easy is it to reproduce on the X?

Answer? I kept starting a game and turning on the camera when not on a call. In a call, I dialed some numbers and started the camera..

The iPhone 4 way? I actually hold my phones like that.......

Its...not...that....it....happens........
its....how....easy....it....is....to....reproduce.....

I wouldn't trust anything that Apple has to say on this matter. For all you know that test was staged. I tried it myself and I've seen others try it and couldn't get it to do it. So the ease with which they got it to drop is suspect.

Cant apple get sued for this crap. They are looking pretty pathetic these days.

Look, if we cover the Right top and the entire bottom of the DROIDX, it will lose signal.... like any normal person would.... oh wait a normal person wouldnt hold a phone that way.

DUH, the Iphone4 loses signal when a normal person holds the Iphone4 in a normal position.

What I don't get is that the Droid X has a dual antenna design. So wouldn't the test by Apple be setup? I mean it's not even showing 3G or 2G anywhere.

I thought the video was fake too. But while in a call it doesnt show 3G or 1x on the X.

Hey, at least Apple learned me sumfin new todays....
