Last day of work before my vacation.. going Disney Wooooorld!!! w00t!!!!!!
 
have a great time stephen. atleast one of us will be. one day with the kiddies are all grown up, the wife and I might slip down to FL for some relaxation.
 
On the topic of overclocking, anybody else noticing the new ota kernel is as "overclockable" as previous kernels? i could hit 1.4 no sweat before the ota now at 1.35 my phone locks up running nfs.

Hey all

Ok so here I am again. My fascinate is a piece of crap and im done with it. Im taking it back and demanding a new phone. Of course Now I need to decide on the Droid X or Incredible. Although my gut is going with what I wanted in the first place, the Incredible. The biggest set back for me is the camera. So far the X is far superior in that regard...uhg. Im so torn. Im just hoping they will cooperate with me and give me something other than another damn fascinate. Im done with samsung's bull shit and verizon's crap too. Come on, I shouldnt have to be a freaking computer genius to simple mount the SD card and have the device run as it was advertised.
 
The only pro for me about going with the Incredible, knowing what I know now, is the open unlocked bootloader. The Droid X is a little more restricted with what kind of custom ROMs you can put on it. I myself went with the X and couldn't be happier. I couldn't go with the smaller screen and flimsier feel of the Incredible. But the Incredible is a damn good device.

Ok question, did the members of the Apple forum you used to frequent (I assume you did used to frequent an Apple forum, no?) get as uptight when you announced you were switching to Android as some of the members here seem to get when a member says they're switching to the iPhone? I'd imagine so, just curious.





How did I miss the fact that we had our own lounge?
 
I will never buy another phone that has a locked bootloader, again. I like the DX, but I'll never go into a sale buying a phone that locks me out of it. It's my money and my phone.

Six more months to go, and I'll see what's available.

You're right. I'm a romaholic. I love flashing different roms. Locking the bootloader limits the fun and possibilities.
 
You'd think there would have been some chatter over Gingerbread or something... I got a new job so I can't be on the forums as much as I used to be :(
