droid x mmmazing video quality

No lucerne valley so cal I race motocross so the desert is a must ha I live in a tiny city in the middle of no where & still the droid x is a beast..this phone is seriously off the hook the HD video is remarkable anyone who disses this phone is stupid i love it..just waiting for android 2.2 to roll out then there's no stopping the x (:
 
You live in Lucerne Valley? lol Wow... I live in Apple Valley. I thought those mountains looked familiar. I would've never thought that umm... anyone would own anything remotely technologically advanced as the Droid X in umm... Lucerne Valley. lol

I'm sure you've heard this before, but my friends and I just think of it as some meth capitol. lol
 
lucerne valley is gorgeous i've ridden my race bike to.the top of those mountains& back..apple valley sucks there's no freedom like there. is in lucerne to ride dirtbikes& stuff..i know how you feel o went from a wackberry storm 2 to the x& i can't believe how much better this device is in comparison to previous phones& ipods & cameras..i almost got the incredible& im SO glad i got x instead ha
 
Right behind my house, there's miles and miles of dirt bike trails. It basically extends all the way to Barstow if you really wanted to. Apple Valley is the most civilized city in the hi-desert. I don't know how the people are in Lucerne Valley, but no one that I wants to live out in the "boonies". :p
 
my fiance and i love lucerne its really a good community we want our kids to.go to the schools here because they're so small..her& i both ride& we have a lot of property its really convienant for us(: plus were tchnology freaks we know everything about it
 
I took this last night on my way to get some Sonic. It was pretty dark outside, so if you look at the 720p video full screen, you can see the noise. Otherwise, I thought the quality was pretty good.

Also, if you're rooted, you can make some changes to your build.prop file to turn up the bitrate that HD video records in. I believe my video was recorded at 8Mbps.
 
the video is set at 720p & i have my camera at the full 8mp..the phone comes with the camera set at 6 meg pixels..for the pictures you might want to play around with a few of the advanced settings like shutter& stuff..as far as the videeo goes i've had incredible luck with how amazing the quality is..hope this helps some (:

Can you record some video in daylight and maybe not as much movement? I want to see how big of an improvement changing those settings make.

I notice your video shows the "bloom" effect some people have mentioned that came with the 1st update. Everything looks like it has a glowish effect.

While I like the effect, I would prefer to have it as an option, not as a default effect. ;)
 
Guys, I posted this question on the troubleshooting forums, but I didn't get a response yet...I just got the Droid X...and...when I turn on the camcorder to record in 720p, the picture on the phone starts to lag alot...why isn't the picture fluid when its recording in 720p? when I'm done recording, then play the video, it looks fine...wtf..is this supposed to be normal on this phone?
