Droid X or Blackberry Storm 2......?

wow. shouldn't even be a question

former S1 user here. will never go back to BB. sure they make durable phones, but their OS is terrible.

i especially had huge issues with their surepress technology. it was just a big mess. additionally, they rarely give updates.

I would love to fling it into a brick wall, for the pleasure of seeing it crumble into a million pieces, but I have put it to good use as a paperweight, in case I have to go overseas anytime soon.

I threw my BB at a brick wall and watched it crumble into thousands (not millions) of pieces :P
My friend spilled a soda on it and then another friend poured water on me and my phone and it stopped working and I had no insurance so brick wall it was lol.

after playing with my x and bb storm theres not comparison. the x blows the storm out of the water and then some.

Had both the S1 (4 of them replaced due to mfg problems so auto upgrade to S2) and the S2. Would never go back to BB for anything. I'd even go to WinMo before going to BB. The biggest gripe about BB for me was truncated emails - at least every day I'd have 2 or 3 emails that were cut off due to BB's BS servers.

Keep the DX. Seriously. Keep the DX.

I had the same issue I went through 4 S1's and 4 S2's and they gave me a automatic upgrade to the DX. The guy tried talking me into the incredible but glad I went with the DX. My S2 I sold for 100. to some college kid.

Quick Pull was terrible. Would always freeze my storm instead of restart it... I ended up having to do a battery pull every time to unfreeze it.
I must have gotten the only good Storm ever built. I really, really had few/any problems with it. Rarely had to do a battery pull. It did everything just like the DX does, except for the obvious stuff. Of course I was a memory-managing wizard ;) but really I liked the phone and really no complaints other than app memory and the eventual screen sensitivity problems. I didn't go into owning it thinking it was an app-hound or an i-Phone killer. It did the basic stuff just fine.
I still thinks it's easier to TXT and email from....the way it was laid out, not Swype obviously.
