Root Droid X Rom with working HDMI

(I'm new so please bear with me) ... I recently had my Droid X flashed to Liberty 1.5 and then learned my HDMI wouldn't work using Liberty. As far as I've heard only Apex 1.4 with motoblur works with HDMI. Is this true?? or are their other ROMs that will work the HDMI on the Droid X? I'm reading up on doing it myself and could use a little help to get the HDMI working. Thanks....
 
If you want a great running rom and everythin works you can got to DarkSlide v4.2

There is a blur and blurless version. I have been running the blur version for at least a 1.5 months and I have never had an issue. Once you tr y thid you will not try anthing else.
 
HDMI works all versions of Apex.
In Apex 1.4.x you need to install the blur gallery via the toolbox to take advantage of the hdmi gallery, otherwise realHDMI works fine on it.

I have Darkslide v4.2 also with the blurless option and realHDMI puts up angry birds to my 42" lcd TV :) ie IT WORKS! :D
