Root Droid X root?

Hey guys tired of my X being all stock with blur. I mean blur is garbage and seems to be a resource hog at that. I have rooted things like PSPs etc but never a droid.

I just used a temp root on Z4 Root and it seems to have worked... I wonder what program I need if I did a permanent root how I could go back to factory stock?

Any help would be great and what programs are must haves once you root? What kind of safe OCs are you getting with your Xs?

before lunch today i would have told you to jump straight to the GB leak...but right now i'd hold off as there is developing news of the OTA coming out for GB. You will me amazed at how much better Blur is on GB than it was on Froyo.
