Help Droid X Sending Blank Text Messages

I'm getting this problem constantly where I send someone a text and they recieve a blank text next to my name. I can see the text in my chat but they cannot. Anyone else experiencing this, can i fix it?

Just a guess but is it somehow the font color is set to the same color as the background? Is that even possible?

havent touched any font settings, everyting is default
