Root Droid X stuck on bootloop ,HELP!

Take a deep breath. What you need to do first is uninstall everything SBF related and start from scratch. That means rsd lite, Moto drivers, everything. Once that's done let is know.
 
ok bud here is what you need to do

if you still want to try rsd lite, download rsd lite 4.9
4.8 doesnt really help with windows xp for some odd reason
if it asks you for a cd something may be corrupt in your windows installer, (which is possible)

why are you sbfing with the gb ?
y not just sbf with the froyo then update to gb, or dont update, vzw probably wont know the difference.

you need to sbf the froyo files

and if your doing the linux method i must let you know
when you first do it, i always do it through a usb flash drive
when it first starts up, its the second option, because /default doesnt work :p

once you hit the second option give it time and it will walk you through the setup

FOLLOW THE STEPS OF PREPARING A USB STICK!! if you use the stick.

his issue seems bizarre, and what needs to happen is he may have a corrupt windows installer, (which sucks when it happens) and if thats the case he needs to fix it with his windows xp disk, i hope he takes me up on my offer and pm's me so i can better keep track of this
 
I called in VoidedSaint for you. He's and Bouchigo are the heavy artillery here. Trust and follow him. They fix you right up.
 
he has the sbf file working, however i cannot open the links he supplied me last night, something about booting to the flash drive to get it to work, or cd, so untill he gets on and PM's me i wont know
 
NEVERMIND IT DID NOT WORK!!!!!!!! I GET THIS EVERY TIME I USE THE CD OR USB!!!!
