I don't think there will be a fix for this one. My phone is freezing and rebooting every 10 seconds. It is even doing this from clockwork, not enough time to wipe or flash a new zip. I guess its been 2 years of 1.2-1.25ghz and a few drops. I even dropped it on purpose a couple times when it wouldn't turn on(actually fixed it). It was a good run.

Sorry to hear of your loss... dang Droids are dropping like flies all of a sudden! Do you think there is a hardware "self-destruct" chip in there designed to wreak havoc right at the NE2 mark?

Oddly enough, my droid showed its first real signs of wear last night when i was charging it, i noticed that the charger did not always make connection and had to be jiggled.

My wife and I got our Droids the day after release and mine has definitely tested the time much longer than hers. On hers, the power button is really sunken, the kb is really loose and she's got a ton of bruises on the side of the screen (obviously from drops or casually throwing it into a purse full of knives and what not). Mine hasn't had any of these issues and I'm flashing a new ROM almost weekly (she won't even let me root it).
But, I have to say, I'm starting to get tired of the lag regardless of how stable CM7 or LGB is. I'm ready for some gd GSII. I saw some in France when we were there a couple weeks ago, and that mofo is FAST!
