Root DroidRom 1.0 is out in the updater!

I have been having good luck running at 1200. My clock it showing Deg Celcius also. Though it was a known problem. It has been that way through several ROMS running the 2.1 clock.
 
I believe it's the 2.1 deskclock displaying celsius.

You can just uncheck that when installing, and then when you put the phone in your multimedia dock, it'll use the original, 2.0.1 dock app (which is nicer looking anyways)

Cool thing about the 2.1 deskclock is that the live wallpaper runs behind it (though after a while, it changes into a lower power greenish thing).

Another tidbit, the 2.1 clock works and displays F in Pete's 2.1 ROM.
 
Yeah I lilke the 2.1 better than moto's and dont mind the C.

I've been wanting to try pete's latest but I get fed up with how he removes so many apps.
 
I love droidMOD! Everythings working for me, OC'd to 1.0ghz, live wallpapers, wifi tether, 5 home screens stock w/out using a home replacement is nice too.
 
Has anyone been having trouble with battery life in DroidRom 1.0? I am running 2.0.6 and have no problems, and as far as I know they are the same basic ROM.

I only ask because I have expressly recommended it in another thread, but have read a few complaints of battery life. Should I be recommending Sholes 2.0.6 then added livewallpapers instead(More work for the newcomer)?:confused:

I've upped the minimum clock speed in my charging and sleep profiles to 400 and that seemed to fix it for me. (running adamz 1.1 kernal)
 
I am having some reboots and lockups with 1.0, even at 800mHz. Google Earth and the Gallery are the biggest culprits. I'd like to go back to 2.0.5/ 2.0.6, but I don't know where to find them anymore. Unfortunately I deleted them from my SD.
 
I'm running Sholes 2.03 and would like to bump it up to 2.06. Is it still out there and if so,how do I update it? I can get to the recovery screen, understand the boot deal. Do I go to recovery and just select the new ROM when it asks? And don't you need Busybox to use Metamorph? Was considering trying the Droidmod updater but don't want to lose the smoked glass either and am not that advanced to try Metamorph. Not looking to become a programmer,just want a nice looking ROM with the advanced features such as wifi tethering, would like the moving wallpapers as I've seen the vid of it and it is def nice looking. I really like the 2.o3 but the prob with it is the keyboard is slower than crap typing on it and I understand this was fixed in the later updates and also when I click on account/sync under settings,the thing reboots! Bizarre. Stability is important for me as well. I don't need a ROM that constantly FC's on me or has lockups,instability. So I figured 2.06 is prob the more stable of the Sholes as it's further along in development and then Droidmod,even though it's essentially the same group,is a new updater and from the sound of it above has some issues that need addressed before I jump aboard.

Droidmod is the same group as sholesmod minus one person... just update to 1.0 because it is basically 2.0.6 with live wallpapers and it will save you the trouble from trying to get 2.0.6 from somewhere. Everything is just as smooth as in 2.0.3 with some great fixes too.
