Help Dropped my phone and now the screen is blank

I dropped my phone and now my screen is blank. I can hear it ring and everything. No boot up screen either even though I can hear it boot. The backlight is on, sort of a dark black color. I see no visible damage to it. It was rooted and had Icarus installed. I can get into the SD card through the computer. Any ideas? Thanks.

You may have knocked a connection loose to the screen. You may have to take it to a repair shop.

I took it to Metro and explained what happened. I'm getting a new one because of the 1 year manufacturer warranty. It helped that my friend works at Metro Only have to pay $11

I dropped my Ascend and had the same issue, but you said there was a manufacturer warranty....and i was wondering how you know if you are under warranty? I have cricket and i have insurance on this phone.

take it back to cricket and get a replacement....

If there is no visible damage on the phone, you might be able to get a warranty claim. If they can tell you dropped it, they will probably make you use the insurance, which means a big deductible. A lot of times it depends on the employee you are dealing with. I don't really see the point of paying for insurance on this cheap of a phone myself, but thats just me.
