Dropping your Incredible

It is a sad day I dropped my DInc. and the screen shattered. I was shocked I bent over to pick my kid up and it fell from my pocket and hit the floor. I have insurance on it and was told to go to VZW store to see if they could replace the screen but they told me they have no replacement parts that I needed to turn it in to insurance. Costed me another $89.00. I thought screen was made of "Gorilla Glass" none scratchable/unbreakable. Also took precautions with a screen protector, VZW hard case and it still broke.

The phone has a thin glass screen that has cracked when other owners have dropped it (search the forum). I highly recommend a case and a screen protector of your choice. I'm using the Verizon Silicone Cover and a Clarivue Screen Protector.

I just cant use a case. I try every time i read thread like this. I went to vzw bought the black silicon and it makes it too bulky and dust gets caught all around the edges drives me nuts.

i then bought the clear hard snap case from vzw. then i wound up needing to do two battery pulls today annoyed me and same issue with dust in the corners.

so i am back to naked and the way i look at it the case it 20 bucks so that makes my 20 less since i dont have a case plus i am grandfathered in and my deductible is 50 bucks so NAKED for me unless i can find the perfect case.

just dropped my incredible today, it hit on the corner from about 4 feet up on the concrete. It had a few scuffs on the corner but was no worse for wear. I am going to put a case on it but I am waiting for seido.

Dropped my baby from about four feet high onto concrete sidewalk... It landed on a corner and then face down. Thank God I had my body glove case. It only received a few scratches on the frame as the case immediately flew off upon impact absorbing the damage properly.
