Help Dsp manager

Yes for rooted thunderbolts it is included in most roms. I don't think there is a standalone apk that will work on a non-rooted phone however.
 
Some roms have and some don't I've come to realize. If there is no DSP that comes with the rom, I would download Equalizer which I think is even better than DSP in what it can do. Not sure if you have to be rooted or not tho

Unfortunately it's limited in what it controls. DSP Manager adjusts the sound for the phone speaker, headphones, and bluetooth when playing all sounds, not just music.

There is an app called 'Equalizer' from the same dev's as AudioManager that looks nice. I played around with it for a bit, but it was kinda redundant with the DSP app.

You may need to search the market on your computer and load it that way. Google blocked it from the Market until I switched over to GB.
 
The equalizer in the native music app blows a big one. The SRS Wow effects however is quite good but some roms don't have this working for some reason. Download the equalizer app and you won't think about anything else.

Send me your DSP files. lol. Ive yet to see it work. Its had issues from what Ive been told on all sense 3 ports. Perhaps you CM7 guys are a bit more lucky. Trev has Beats audio opened up for all phones, and DSP is killin it. lol.

I dont just mean the APK, I mean the internals as well. Especially
/system/lib/soundfx/libcyanogen-dsp.so

Yup.. its all there. Working just fine.

Flash CM7 and give it a shot if you'd like.
 
I believe you can still get DPS as a flashable zip, may need to look around in the OG droid all things root area. What files you want McLabia? I believe it is working on my current rom (I'll check before I send any files however), I don't use my phone for media any more however got an android MP3 player with much more options for that now ;)
