Root Dunno what to tell ya

I'm trying to look for a Stock ZVD and the Stock Kernel as well. I'm trying to run it back like a new phone again (unrooted of course).

Thank you for your time. Good Morning to some of yall as well.

Good Morning:)
The only way to get back to that point would be to downgrade the phone and then update it again. Not sure if the AIO would work on ZVD to un-root(have not tried it-Has Anyone?).

Figures, something in the back of my mind told me I would have to do that but was in dis-belief. What's this AIO that you mentioned?

Yes, I'm selling it.

Your gonna have to downgrade then upgrade again.

Someone posted an unrooter thread the other day with a new program to unroot. That might work. Let me find the thread.

I have a backup i made when i upgraded to zvd. It's fully stock but i think it might have my info (gmail added).

If there's a way to fix that i wouldn't mind sending it to you.

That makes the process of getting it back to square 1 a whole lot more easier. Correct me if I'm wrong but if I were to take that back-up and flash it etc. the only thing I would be left to worry about would be to unroot the phone at that point correct?

Btw, you don't need to if your not comfortable about it. I was thinking about doing a factory reset if you were to give me the back-up and remove all the cache and what not.

Idj if it's the same or not big. I just remember seeing that thread. I've never unrooted so i don't know if there are different methods or just one.

The only thing is my files are at home and i'm at work, so it wouldn't be till later until i could send it to you.

By that tune you can just do it the long way, downgrade upgrade, and be done with it.

Good luck

So my only issue then is getting a Stock ZVD ROM right? :D

The down then up would be the way then.

+1^^
Would take you maybe an hour..two tops:thumbup:

Ah, I see ok. My final question though. So basically the downgrade method for ZVC to ZVB its the same thing for downgrading ZVD to ZVC correct?

Wait a minute I just found the Stock ZVD ROM back-up I had when I updated it to ZVD :D so all I need to do is unroot this baby and I'm home free right?

:cool:yeah that will work..do me a favor if you would. Let me.know which method you use for unrooting and I can add to the sticky for when it comes up again.
