The only way to get to the point of dev is to learn
Take this as a lesson.

But don't get in an argument.
People will always pull your work apart and analyse it. If it is against their principals (or in this case outright illegal, despite your apparent naivety in that) or what they feel is honest.

If you want to learn more take his work and tear it apart, find our how it ticks, research and above all grow a thick skin.

Understood I will, i updated my post and took the downloads down, i will only post my themes that i made. Your right, i cant argue with that so thankx for the tip :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
 
The ics thing is doable with the free version of ics in theory. I actually bought ics + a month ago. Its a ripoff. The free one is identical.

As all members should be aware, seeing as it's clearly stated in the Site Rules, warez and other forms of copyright infringement are not tolerated here at Android Forums. Nor is ignoring GPL or other open-source licensing.

It's also unrealistic to expect mods to "be about" on a site with over 1000 sub-forums that's active 24/7. That's why there's a "Report This Post" button - please use that rather than take the law into your own hands.

I hope to see this theme reposted soon with acceptable contents.

First of all why don't you read back a couple post n see how he was using warez...

The uot kitchen is someone else work also. The kitchen does all the work and has all the images built into. You select a couple options n bamn you have theme. Idk it was hard work to press a button.
 
What is the general feeling about launchers like Go Launcher? Is that considered a kitchen also? I made a few themes from their compiler that is free.

Lol, no.

IMO there is nothing wrong with kitchens, they let people without the time to learn source building to make cool stuff.

go launcher is whatve been using for a few mmonths now, works awesome and is pretty configurable, lots of good settings, and themes..i bought the go launcher ics theme..best buck i ever spent..that with the go locker ics theme also (go locker is really good lock screen alternative)
check it out. ive used all other launchers and go launcher is the best imo, adw isnt bad either but the themes for go launcher are nicer

kitchens are fine. really i use em too (doedexing takes forever by hand, especially on the photon 4g where we have 250+ odex's in /system/app) the reason why you see people complain, is when someone tries to pass it off as if they did a whole bunch of work, when it was a few clicks. if you are making actual themes and re doing images and stuff my hats off to ya.. i hate frameworks with a passion too many things cna cause errors and not booting with piss poor logcats

New loading circle, android battery icon, animation changes. Maybe new overscroll color but I don't really pay attention to those anyway... actually seems lighter but I also just dumped my caches.

Based on the number of pm's I have gotten from other people we may very well be seeing some true custom themes. As in custom icons and such that are hand made by the themers. ;)

Still in learning process but as for now i guess we just have to settle with this
 
i highly recommend you avoid syndicate ics launcher, it has had several devs report that its steals contact data as well as meid and phone information

i do however suggest if you are looking for ics look try nova :) its a full featured launcher that IMO is better than the cm9 default one

Thanks I didnt Know That. They Broadcast ics launcher like its truely everything,
I cant wait to someone make a ics rom for the admire that would be pretty cool

Yes they are very good. I have the theme maker that Go Launcher has made available. I have learned to make icons and .png it is quite the learning curve. But was fun I have a couple Clearwater marina themes also a World of warcraft theme that my wife wanted.
