I restored my stock backup, just updated a few weeks ago, updated that with GB and had all my data.

it was that easy?? I might have to try that, I still have a stock nandroid.

Yeah, Holding Volume down seemed to work. Guess this changed from all the articles that came out when the phone came out. Just wiped. Hopefully it boots up now.

What did you do to get into recovery?! I'm having this same problem, can't get past the darn exclamation point!

EDIT: FOUND IT! when you're at the exclamation mark, press both volume buttons! yay!
