EA Games Bargains

Hi all. Not seen it mentioned in the Desire sub-forum and just in case some only lurk here and don't see the games forum, EA's four Android games are are $0.99 at the moment.

The Sims 3, Need for Speed Shift, FIFA 10 and Tetris.

Gone for the first two myself - so glad I'm rooted with an A2SD+ ROM

I can't speak for the others but need for speed works perfect for me.The reviews for Fifa do not seem so good so I left it

I just started typing 'need' and it suggested 'need for speed'. It wasn't top of the search results but it was there. From that app you can select Developer Info->View more applications to see the rest. Or... the AppBrain way:

I've only given them a quick try. For NFS:S I just tried the tutorial and it seemed fine to control and is certainly smooth enough. Sims seems to play OK. Not really played it enough to see how good a game it is, but at ~67p I thought 'why not?'

<-- Note that I'm on a (non-overclocked) custom ROM so stock Desire performance may be different.

WTF?? Purchased and downloaded Need for Speed, then when opened it says it needs to download another 150mb? Hope it goes straight to SD, my A2SD+ partition only had about 200mb free :/

It saves the extra download to /sdcard/Android/data/

The Sims downloads an extra 50 or so MB as well.

Cool. It only added about 2mb to internal storage Good game! Controls feel nice.

I wish the EA Tetris was available for Wildfire... I don't play it but my gf who has a Wildfire is a big fan of Tetris and was disappointed when she saw that it wasn't available on it and the alternatives pretty much suck ass.

Need For Speed is excellent,might try the sims I wanted Fifa but got put off by the reviews,shame really it looks good!
