Well my earphone jack doesn't seem to work on my Incredible 2 which I only got 2 weeks ago. It worked for the past 2 weeks, but now it just doesn't. I put in my earphones in and the phone doesn't recognize them. Then I tried my other earphones and the phone didn't recognize them too. The only way for the phone to recognize the earphones is if I push the earphone in to the phone really hard, and then it will work. But if I let go and stop pushing it will then again not work. Help.

Are the head phones you are using made with a right angle to them with a thick plastic base ,as opposed to a straight jack with a small plastic base.
The ones with the right angle and/or straight pin with a thick plastic base don't seat well in this phones earphone jack. Like you said they have to be pushed in to get the phone to recognize it & play the audio, also if you have a case on, this can further the jack from not seating properly and making a bad connection.
All the head phones i tried did this until i bought one off Ebay with a straight connection pin/small plastic base.

Or if, you can't get any to work or be recognized, it might need to be taken into the store to access the malfunction.

My jack that works really well looks like this...

Yeah my headphones are like yours straight, no right angle. I just pushed them very hard into the phone, and now it seems to work permanently. But when I don't push it so hard into the phone then the phone cant' recognize. I literally have to push really hard.

On my Droid 1 I got crud in the jack and had to use a small screwdriver to loosen it. Then I tapped the phone on a surface with the jack down. The crud fell out and it worked again.
