Root easier root?

There should be but unless an android dev familiar with gingerbread 2.3.7 who happens to have the Optimus Elite drops out of the sky and sweeps us away with his/her epic knowledge of how this phone works, I would say no.

By far the hardest part is getting the MSL. It personally took me a week of snooping around to get it for myself, and will take many days of continuous troubleshooting to get it to work for others as well.

Once you get the msl it's pretty easy after that, just follow the steps and you will be fine, seems like a user finnaly found a way to retrive the msl from the bin files, check out the msl thread in all things root
