Root Easy Way to Flash Roms Without Data Loss?

Is there a way to Flash roms without having to download every app again and again? I'm using TWRP 2.4.xx and have yet to find a way to flash a new rom while keeping all of my apps. Is that possible with TWRP? I don't want to use 4ext because I really like my recovery.

titanium backup and im pretty sure there is a app on the market that let you flash your aps thru a zip file

App 2 zip makes a flashable zip of all the apps you want

For the record, app2zip won't restore app data. It doesn't work right. Also, Titanium now has this feature. If you click the checkmark and scroll down to the "Recovery" section there is an option to make a flashable zip of apps and data!

To the op, just use any backup app like others have said. Use something like Titanium backup, rom toolbox, or my backup.

I had Titanium Backup, but I was not aware of that feature. I only used it to save app data, not the actual app itself.

Well even without going the flashable zip route, you can backup app+data to the sd card which will let you restore the apps to your phone without re-installing through the play store. But either way, you have a couple of options :)

All I've ever used. Works great.

The problem is that it only allows you to restore the app and not the data, also with TiBu unless you're careful with creating the update.zip you can have problems such as if the rom that you're flashing has SU and the backup has SuperSU, I personally just make an update.zip just for TiBu and flash that after the rom, reboot and Titanium is already installed and then just do a selective restore, between flashing the rom and restoring your apps and settings takes less than

Gosh, I must be backwards! I just backup apk&data with My Backup Pro, flash a rom, go straight to the store and reload My Backup Ro and restore whatever I want. never takes more than five minutes :p
