Help Eco 4G to criket

Hello...just bought a Eco 4G of a friend but I'm guessing it has a bad ESN guessing he stopped paying it or something...does anyone know if I can turn it into cricket w/O me going and paying them 40$ for them to do it. Then charging me another 40$+/- for get it connected?

Phone is not rooted its on the original stock mode.

Hate to say but if your talking about flashing without cricket doing it themselves, that's a kinda topic that shouldn't be discussed here

if it has a bad esn then there is no way around it. you will have to either have the previous owner make things good with the carrier or you will have to do it yourself. trying to skate around it will not be discussed here as that is illegal and also against our site rules.
