How do you activate the edge panels on the S20+?

How do you activate the edge panels on the S20+?

it should be the same on my note 10+:
settings>display>edge screen>edge panels

Mine were active by default (S20) but since I'm new to Samsung I didn't know what it was I was seeing. On the top right, near the power and volume buttons, is a thin rectangle protruding from the right of the screen. Swipe within that area from the edge to the center to open the Edge panel, then swipe left or right within the panel to scroll through the different edge apps.

this true. but in settings there is a toggle to turn the edge panels on or off. it might have somehow been toggled off.

Thanks anyway but I had tried that page but my phone does not have the edge line to swipe.

Open settings and hit search, put in edge panel.
Should be first result. Click on it.
Should be simple on / off toggle.

If you can't still find it, can you screenshot what you see in the Edge Screen settings?

I already tried that. It just takes me to the Edge Screen page and all it says is what I said before. It only says change edge lighting. Doesn't mention panels.
I will try to get a screen shot.

I'm not a Samsung guru. This is my first real experience, so I'm posting screenshots of where the settings are on the S20.

Please upload a screenshot, use the forum app if that is easier.

If the setting is not there you could have a hardware/software issue. Have you restarted phone? Where did you buy from? I would consider contacting Samsung support and letting them trouble shoot. The setting should be right where the screenshot by Unforgiven shows.

Let me know if you use the app as to what phone it 'detects' in the "Forums" tab of the app. That may lend some insight.

Confirm you phone model? Is it plus, ultra? Also unlocked or no? US? Which carrier are you on?
