Egg?

I was just messing with my droid incredible keyboard (creating a text but just messing with the buttons) I found out if you hold down on the lower case b it does ) then lower case v does ( it will bring up:
)(HTC_RUDB_v00.04.03_EricJ

What is the version in reference to? And I'm guessing Eric J is the designer of the software? Idk just thought it was a neat egg.

Any thoughts?

Lol. Yea, I thought that was wierd too. Very strange that it would only auto populate using the keys that way. But yea something I found out just messing around.

Now I just wish I knew what the version was reference to. I can't find it anywhere and I was wondering who Eric J was lol.
 
Very interesting! Mine does the same. I'm running a custom ROM and the keyboard is an EVO port. Are you all on stock?
 
Very interesting. I'm a .02 Do you suppose the 02 and the 03 difference reflects the
02 = Amoled and 03 = SLCD screens? Just a thought. I saw in another thread that if you go to menu>settings>about phone>hardware information>hardware version you will get a 0002 for AMOLED and 0003 for SLCD.
 
Well, it requires text prediction to be on, so I'm guessing it has to do with that. Also, I get .03 but I'm on a pre-day 1 amoled. The db part makes me think database, perhaps for the prediction system.

Well, my phone states my hardware is 0002 also. Since my version is .03 I dont think that is the case.
 
Super weird. Anyone with a DINC handy that can capture a quick video showing this? Would be interestingly random enough to post as Phandroid News. If you can, link me here and thanks in advance!
 
If I press the down on the text prediction I also get the 2nd part after Ericj. Interesting!

I get the 04.02 and 1.1.12 on my Dinc.
My friend has an Eris and he gets 04.02 also, but 1.1.7 on the "normal" one.

I'm currently running Lou's Senseless rEVOlution 1.0 ROM and got version 04.03 on an AMOLED screen.
