it will depend on your phone. not all kernels will react the same. what works for you may not work for me. so it is hard to say. but yes netarchy toastmod kernels are what i used when i was on froyo. mine seemed to like the more havs sbc kernels better.

Exactly, kernels can be tricky, but there are plenty of netarchy kernels to choose from so chances are, you'll find soemthing that works well. And Koni's Elite was one of my favorite Froyo roms. Rock solid and super speedy.
