I was able to sync my email account to the phone, but once viewed on mail desktop location....my phone emails are erased. How do I keep the phone emails so that I determine when they are deleted?
You most likely have your desktop email client setup at POP3 which will delete mail from the server once it's been downloaded. If you can, setup your desktop email as IMAP so that the messages remain available for your phone (which should also be setup as an IMAP client.)
No, because POP is once and done. The mail you'd get on your phone would only be on your phone and the same would go for your Desktop.
Which desktop email client are you using? With Outlook or Thunderbird, there is an option to NOT delete the messages from the server, but the downside to that is that every time you check your email it's going to download duplicate headers. Is there a specific reason why your accounts can't be IMAP?
