Root Ending the Apple tyranny

I am wondering something. It is hard to find reference to this delinkification in some of the changelogs.

Seems like that would be a prime thing to fix in any of them so maybe i am missing it.

The question would be, should or could this be flashed over a custom rom w/o ill affect?

When in doubt or not, always make a nandroid before doing mods like this.

This changes 4 lines in one config file - a duplicated pair of true/false flags.

Apps that use those config values already know how to use the true/false behavior (suppress showing options, show options). Apps that are oblivious to those particular flags are unaffected by them.

It has big results, but it's not a big change.

I flashed over a custom rom.

Works great.

And this is not a prime thing to fix in all of them, because that's a dev's decision. Not everyone wants to nose-thumb Apple. But some of them do, so Steel25 figured out how, smw6180 put it in a flashable zip, and yours truly has provided a thread for your dining and dancing pleasure.

But if you want to wait until a rom dev says it's ok, there's nothing wrong with that, it's your decision.

Myself, I recommend the applesauce - it's made from the finest ground up and pulverized apples. ;) :)
