My original was corrupted. It was unable to be read, formatted, or even recognized by my computer via the phone or my external minisdhc card reader. I went to the local Sprint store and they gave me a Sandisk card as a replacement. I did have a mishap with that card and it needed to be formatted and I lost all of my data. Since then, it has had no issue. The good thing with Sandisk is that they are guaranteed for life. I don't know why it happened. I do suggest to always backup your card to a folder on your hard drive. It's only a max of 16GB (unless you invested crazy money in a 32GB card) so, it doesn't take very long.
