I'm waiting to see if the July 16th OTA Update will solve any of my issues, if not, I'll be going to VZW and getting a different phone.

I never really had issues with either of my phones. The first one had trackball issues though. But I don't consider that a "bug", but a hardware defect. My refurb is working perfectly and I now have it rooted. It can't get much better than that.

Luckily, this poll doesn't apply to me :D. It's not perfect, but I'm still very happy with it. And I haven't even rooted yet! Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm missing out. I just haven't had the motivation to do it yet.

I see that you're on 1.5. Is it the original OS or did you have success downgrading from 2.1?

i wish more people would post their experience, this could be a great reference thread when you guys try to get a working phone. Seems to me, most people have already gotten rid of the problematic ones and moved on.

Stock 2.1 with 50 percent bug and bad bad dialer lag..

..and I'm sure you've been around the block on the cache clearing and message deleting and factory data reset stuff and all that.

Are you thinking of taking it in for a replacement?

First phone's trackball went down the crapper after 2 months but the phone was absolutely flawless besides that. The refurb is even better (yeah I know, better than flawless??) as far as allocating memory. Plus, now I'm rooted and running EEv3.0 at 768 mhz. So far life is good on this phone, I'll be getting a different phone if this one craps out though, 2 years is too long to be stuck with a lemon.

Had 3 Erises with the same silent bug, htc sense F/C, dialer lag bug, keyboard lag, sent messages either hours or days later(well that was the 1st and 2nd eris), and incoming and outgoing call super lag.

Second phone, came with 2.1, silent bug showed up in about 5 minutes.
The 50% bug too.

Very embarassing when I am trying to anwer or make a call and it is totally deaf.
What I started doing before I attempt to make a call is I toggle the rocker switch to see if I hear the sound...

What held you back from microwaving it?

One exchange solved some of the bugs, but others still exist. Not sure where that fall into the poll.

My biggest bug is the proximity sensor working about 1/2 the time. I find tapping on the sensor a few times while on a call will light up the screen.

I have my original eris, leak v3 (but I got back today and saw a new root so im gonna try that!! :) ) but I haven't experienced many bugs except for the 50% without signal
