Eris software update?

I spent some time with the search function, with no luck.

Its been a while since I have checked in here. Anyway, the other day my wife told me that her Eris (not rooted) had an update waiting to be installed. I have no idea how long it has been sitting on her phone, and mine is rooted, so I didn't get it.

My question is, has anyone had good/bad/ other experiences with this update? Is it worth it? My wifes phone works great, and I would hate to mess it up.

Any links to the threads (i am sure they are here somewhere...) would be appreciated.

Yep. Its the real deal .

There's some minor fixes and updates. Nothing earth-shattering though.

What you have there, E.two.one, is the (very unexpected) February 2011 OTA update for the Eris. It had everyone buzzing and scratching their heads, LOL.

LOL... Just luck / timing.

I just finished mowing the lawn and eating dinner. Then, I grabbed my laptop and checked on the Eris forums (they are always the first ones I scan...my AF home ) and happened to see E.two.one's thread.

You, metlcat, doogald, Scotty, and BC (and recently, CondemnedSoul too!) are a wonderful and welcome constant presence in the Eris forums and I, for one, appreciate having you guys around.

Thanks for the links. I will check it out and decide if its worth messing with her well mannered, stock Eris.
