Eris to v2.x, when?

Ok. I just got off the phone with an imaginary VZW rep that told me that it could be any day now! Oh, I hope he's right!!

Of course he's right about imaginary days; he's an imaginary rep, isn't he?

I just called HTC. The rep doesn't know anything. He was like just check HTC's or Verizon's website for an update or your phone for an OTA update.. I tried..

Maybe they're planning a special surprise... not just an upgrade to 2.1 but a hardware upgrade at the same time! That must be why it's taking them so long! Oh, I hope I'm right!!

So then I called the big V, and they told me to stop creating new 2.1 thread because it kills kittens. Seems the rep at big V enjoyed Caddy's post!

I have Swype, and love it! So much easier than typing on that small keyboard, even in landscape mode.

Does it work well on the Eris?
