Eris to v2.x, when?

Paraphrasing a member on there, that it seems to be a 2.1 ROM but some hacking needs to be done in order to get it.

Of course, just one member's opinion on there.

OP's name is RiverRunner and his first post was that. Definitely seems fishy, but who knows?

Yeah, I've been lurking these forums for almost a month now and the excitement of this brought me to registering finally. I hope this is the real deal here, we've all been waiting!
 
Quick question though. What if this isn't the final build? If we uploaded it (theoretically assuming it works) and the final gets pushed out via OTA, will it still come to us?
 
We're all too scared to bite the bullet. But then who wants to brick their phone, especially their primary phone?


One guy on their said he doesn't need his Eris anymore, so he'd try it. We'll wait and see.
 
Isn't it crazy people have dropped everything and are diligently working on some update for a phone?

I'm not complaining, I'd do the same if I knew where the hell to begin and how to go about doing it. :)
