How is the performance with 2.1? Is it snappier? Is there less delay throughout the OS? Or the same?
Seems somewhat snappier. But it's a fresh install. Guess that's why the test it for awhile.

Tap, Tap, Tap....anybody out there? Can you here me now? Just kidding; Does anyone know if 2.1 will solve the inability to voice dial from blue tooth device? Also, with all this 2.1 excitement, I hope we aren't getting a case of premature ejaculEris...that would be just plain wrong...8-(

Well, I'm not a tester but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night
I know a lot of people were looking for this upgrade. It'll be nice once the testing wraps up and they start rolling the OTA.
No, those balls were "snow flakes". They animated the weather when the phone comes out of sleep.
And yes YouTube works just fine now.

They say it takes a couple weeks before it's released for consumers. So no need to keep checking. I'm sure VZW will put out a release when it's time.

What exactly are you guys testing for? Stability? Looks ready for consumers to me.
Yes, they test stability and robustness. Basically giving it a real world spin before releasing it upon the wild.

Thanks Sundedo...a lot of people come on here and spout off info and you have to wonder if they are just making crap up or going off the info of the friend of a friend of a friend. A pic and especially the video adds a lot of legitimacy. Thanks for throwing out some eye candy.
