Eris to v2.x, when?

Do you think the OTA update will still be pushed through if you're 3G is off?
I know personally I keep mine off when not using it so that I save my battery life, but I'm wondering if that's going to cause an issue....

i know of 2 here for sure... not sure they would want their names out there like that though. if you read through some of the threads it is easy to figure out.

Ok, I'm the 3rd tester..

J/K

there definitely is at least 2 testers on the eris forums, there might be a third but I haven't figured out if they really are yet. The clues seem to point to yes. As for giving names of them?

How about we don't get people fired

I figured Caddy and OTD would get shiny PREMIUM memberships, Caddy wanted his sig picture back and OTD wanted to make more guys drool over that picture

i like helping, but i like helping everyone

not that anyone searches here, but IF THEY DID, it would be much better a question posted in the forum then a questions asked and answered via pm.

the gold really brings out your fangs ;)

I can honestly say that that is the strangest yet most flattering compliment I have received in quite a while. ;)

I agree with you there. I also think it is important for others to post in with their comments too. While I may see it one way, someone else may see it another and offer an even better solution.

Differences in Opinion are greatly valued in my opinion. Not only do you get help but you get help with different points of view and different means of help. Anyone who has a problem and comes to these forums is looking for ways to fix the problem and anyone who can CONTRIBUTE to fixing the situation offers their own experience to solving the problem.

Sometimes i may get a bit agitated about repeated threads and redundant posts(and Luke Wilson in those awful commercials) but i do really enjoy helping other people. I may not have the same experience with the Eris as some other members(i learn more everyday!), but I do enjoy technology as a whole and offer my help to anyone that has a problem =]

It's just that quite often there is a posted question in a thread that is the exact, or close, repeat of the very first post in the thread, even if the title of the thread is that same question.

They'll see the thread title, click in scroll down and post their query without even taking the trouble to read much of the thread, even short threads.

I've noticed that most folks here are quite accommodating when that happens, but some will send them off. I've been tempted to post a link to the same thread they're in. :D

To be honest, I have learned the answers to quite a few of the questions asked while I am posting the answer to someone else. It usually doesn't take me that long to look stuff up or play with my phone to figure it out.

And to keep this on topic:

Here is a real quality video of 2.1 running on an Eris?
