Eris to v2.x, when?

Initial thoughts on 2.1: it doesn't live up to the hype. Voice to text is decent, but Google Goggles sucks. It seems like the lag is slightly fixed but the End call button still has some lag. That's just what I've gathered so far.

I have to agree, Google Goggles really sucks.

I don't know about you, but I (and others I'm sure) have other things to do besides reading through all 37 pages of this thread to figure out if someone has said someone has already said something once or twice.

...I just love when complete a$$h*/es decide to get smart.../:mad:"end sarcasm"

I would imagine if one decided to search, they could easily determine if somethings been posted already, especially a video. But you're right, they wouldn't have to look through all 37 pages, just your post :p

If you got your eris in the last 30 days you might be good to go but the rest of us will have to wait two years or pay the big price. Or wait for 2.1

Sometimes I get the sneaking suspicion that they're trying to lead us Eris users to N1 eventually anyway.

Well....unless there going to let us do an even exchange for the N1 or if they give us money towards it if we give them our Eris back I would not get the N1, being that i got the Eris when my plan was up and since it wont be up for another 2years i am not spending $500+ for a new phone. Its incredible how much they charge for these phones with out a NEW 2 year plan.

That article said that most (if not all) are on schedule to get their update to 2.1 in Q2! Are we still scheduled for Q1?

Also, if all Android phones are to be updated to 2.1, do you suppose that means we'll be upgraded to future versions as they roll out?
