Help Error 67?

Certainty

Newbie
I just got my Galaxie S2 through VM and am happy for the most part. I am coming off the Optimus V which was my first android phone.

I am getting a message, error 67. It flashes by to read quickly but basically it has to do with a registration failure and to please try again. Anyone familiar with this and what do I do to fix it?

Also, I seem to lose signal on a regular basis. A reboot takes care of it for a while. But what would cause me to have a strong signal on my Optimus V and a spotty one with the S2?

Thanks for any info.

Welcome, Certainty. Error 67 means your service is (either accidentally or due to profile issues with your carrier) not available/cut off.

A call to the carrier support line usually resolves the issue.

If it is happening just briefly, I'd suspect fringe area reception and/or just plain old network glitch.

I was getting the same error last night and now it has changed to error #128 unknown error...I am not able to send or receive any texts, I called VM for them only to say that they have escalated my issue and that I would receive a call in 24-72 hours.....this has me burning because I just activated my phone Wednesday so its not off or disconnected. I still get calls but this sucks...when I was getting error 67 I could not connect to the internet...I am so over this phone and VM I should have stayed with Boost Mobile, two days and I am sorry I even bought this phone and switched my service

You may want to go into Settings, System Update, and Update Profile. Who knows, it might work. It's what I would try until Virgin Mobile gets back in touch with you.
