this is my first post.i have galaxy s2 for about 1 month now and it's perfect phone,i love it.but all of a sudden, few days ago, when i turn my wifi on or off , error message appears ( Network error, please check the network ) but everything works (internet , market , mail , samsung apps) . only the message , and it sometimes appear when i go to menu with wifi off.And it becomes very annoying.also appears when on 3G.So please can someone help me and please i don't want to restore factory settings.
I tried turn off-on my phone several times, tried live battery removal, and tried restart my router.my phone isn't rooted
Thanks in advance.

If, as you say, there's no loss of function then I wouldn't worry too much about it. My guess is it's caused by a poor mobile network signal, and as a result your handset is having difficulty switching to/from wireless to mobile.

@goldenhorse, I too have been having the same error message. Sometimes i get "network connection lost" in Google talk. I noticed it started happening after a recent update. I am stateside and have not used my phone internationally.

Any ideas?

I have SG2 on the sprint network.
Android ver: 2.3.6
build: Gingerbread.EK02

I had the same issue, my phone also will get really warm when charging. I saw in another forum that Best Wallpapers HD was the cause. I uninstalled it and the problem is now gone. Give it a try and let us know.

marplaz: Thanks so much....I took your advice, uninstalled that app (too bad, I really liked the wallpapers) and I have not had the issue since!
