Root eSnap 1.8 LG-UI 3.1 for elite - September 19 2013

For some odd reason, I am unable to get any sort of service from Virgin Mobile. I have no bars, there is only a red x. I can't message anybody nor can I call. Is this a known bug? Is there a way to fix it? It started happening after I rebooted the phone after flashing it.

*No need to answer me. Once again, I feel stupid for not figuring things out by myself. It turns out I just forgot to pay my bill. *facepalm*

I'm glad you got it sorted, for better or worse. Strange thing though is my phone isn't in service but not getting the red x
 
I'm beginning to wonder if the red x is a bug or not? Even after paying my bill, the red x doesn't seem to go away and service does not come on. After about an hour or so, I rebooted the phone, but I still could not get any service. I went back to regular GB because I ended up missing some important calls.

I'm sorry to hear that, i was running this rom when I did have service and never had an issue and so far no one else has had the same issue. Right now the only things different about this rom vs cm9 are the apps.
 
Love this rom it is so smooth. But I do have one problem and I dont see where anyone else is having this problem. My wifi will connect and stay connected but after about 5 minutes, when I try to access anything that uses a data connection ie. facebook, internet browser, email, gmail, and etc. It will say I have no connection. I can turn wifi off and back on and I will get about 5 more minutes of connectivity and same issue arises. Any help would be great as I want to make this my daily driver!! Thanks!!

It wasn't that big of a problem, but it was an annoyance. LOVED the ROM though. I think I'll try flashing it another time and see if things work out again.

I will see what i can do about that. Is it an open connection
or a password protected one?

This is very strange to me, none of the system files or frameworks were touched between his Rom and this one, but tonight and or tomorrow I'm going to sit down and do some testing

So after about 1 hour of using his rom I encountered the same problem. So apparently its build related not just yours.

Don't believe so I'm using your Gingerbread rom and haven't dropped connection once. Its showing I'm connected but when I try to load a page I get no data activity. I can restart phone and it works again for 10 to 15 minutes max.
 
Having same issue with your 1.8 that I am with phenoms 9/17. My wifi wont connect, it will see AP's, save the ones I try to connect to, but refuses to try to connect.
 
So I've been running Esnap 1.6a since it came out and added all my apps that I use right away, and for the most part it has been pretty stable but I have noticed that it has been getting progressively slower ( I do clear the cache and junk every so often and restart the phone). Out of curiosity if trim were enabled in the kernel would that help to alleviate the slow downs?
 
I really don't know. I've been noticing a lot of slow downs and high ram consumption on the last two versions of cm9 (which 1.6a and 1.8 are based on). Ultimately I think its a cm thing that hopefully Phenom can get sorted and I'm sure he will. I'd love to try things in the kernel but honestly have no idea how to modify it
 
I think I figured out the problem but no solution. I failed to mention that I wasn't only running my elite with the rom but also my wife's and both the mac address's are the same. Cause I can leave one disconnected and wifi works amazing on the other and when I connect both bam its not working for either..
