1.5 I did not care for 2 because it wasnt themed like the first one. granted i could install the gingerfusion theme and have it be simular but meh. i am just really fond of the 1.5 version

I liked 1.5 better too but it was rebooting on me. I am using MT's ROM now but mainly because it has 2 way call recording.
 
Bumping this up-cause I think some new members would like to learn this way of doing it instead of Rom Toolbox;)

Just move it to the system>media folder and copy over the existing bootanimation.zip

Lol. I still have yet to get my poweron sound working. No biggie, as I don't NEED it.
 
Does anyone know the resolution thats compatible for the boot animation.... will any of these work or no... 1280x720, 800x480 and 960x540?
 
no not me my buddy is alot better than i am with those things haha... he's thinking about making one for me, if he does i'll be sure to post it for all to share! that helps alot to know the resolution, thanks:D
