The only wierd problem I had after restoring my backup was when I did a factory reset I had to do the exitrecovery.zip thing, also my backup was from before I updated to zvd. After the restore its still zvd? Is something fouled up?

no. every backup you had (zvb, zvc, etc) after you updated to zvd every time you restore you'll still be on zvd. completely normal

I dont know what that error is about? I would love to successfully downgrade then update again to zvd and make a fresh stock zvd backup.

please forgive my ignorance but from what i understand the only way to get back to stock is downgrade then re upgrade? like can we not use this ZVD zip?

So I read all the posts in this thread and what i'm trying to figure out is if i have a zvc rooted not stock rom will flashing this put me back to stock zvc unrooted?

No no..I explained it in the OP
I was a bit long winded for sure
Right now there is a way to go back down to ZVB..stay there..or then upgrade to ZVD if you want. ZVC is kinda ugly anyway..a failed attempt to correct the rebooting problems some have

reboot your pc and then try to register your. dll

[FONT=&quot]right click on the VS910.dll file and select Register[/FONT]

sorry to bring back a old thread, but my phone came stock with ZVD do i still need to downgrade it in order to go back to stock? my phone basically took a shi!t on me and now wont work properly. trying to get it "out the box" and take it to metro
