Root Esteem Stock Pulls

This is exactly what it says it is:An un-rooted stock system pull of versions B-C-D of the MS910 Esteem.

What can you do with them:Use them as a base to learn to build ROMS,kernels,themes, or just explore them as I have been.:D

These are not flash-able zip files to use in recovery with your phone(It has been explored but only D was tested and does not work). If you choose to try it do not ask for a solution to fix your phone if you brick it.
This might generate too much traffic for Dropbox as it did with the downgrade files if it does they will suspend my account for 3 days. Just an FYI.

Please download this to your phone and keep a copy on your external SD-It is a lifesaver to get your phone working again quickly;)

Hey how do i.go.back to.stock D like fresh out the update with all the metro apps cause when I upgraded it was fast now that I rooted and put a ROM its bad. I don't wanna un-root just stock D.

First before anything (Can't stress this enough)
Root
Go to playstore(Market) download Rom Manager to phone(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager)
Install recovery with Rom Manager
Make a backup with Rom Manager

Then when you are in your situation you can simply restore your backup and you are D stock rooted.

Yeah like I did this AM(will lose root though)-boot phone-let it load up

Downgrade to B(http://androidforums.com/esteem-all...-downgrade-ms910zvc-ms910zvb-post3775233.html)

Update to D(http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/client/app/B2CAppSetup.exe)

Reroot (http://androidforums.com/esteem-all-things-root/500491-root-lg-esteem-zvc.html)

Took about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs total LOL

Then do it right this time;)

To bad there isn't anyway to turn these into .tot files for LGNPST. That would be sweet! ;) Still will come in handy though. Thanks!
 
so if i download the stock D nd i flash it.. it wont go back to metro pcs stuff? since i forgot to make a back up of tht zvc, now i updated it to the D but with the rom i had installd :/ but now my phone its all slow. so wat im askn is if i put this D stock rom cld it actually work with no problem??

Have asked around on how to convert them but still awaiting an answer. Would be ideal to be able to use in LGNPST to just return to stock whatever version. Hopefully with everyone being able to have a copy of each someone will figure out how to convert them.:thumbup:

lmao pretty funny huh.... well i already found out wats wrng i actually got everything workn just fine. my only problem is tht when while doin the update i think the update fryed my external sd card bcus it keeps on scanning for like hrs i try doin the hard reset 3 times bt it just dont work. ima see if i take the sd card to the metro pcs they wld actually give me a new one :D ... only thing i lost everything i had in there :(

I pulled my sd whenever downgrading..updating whatever..too much stuff to lose..sucks that it did something with yours.:thumbdown:

You do so at YOUR OWN RISK
Prior to flashing make a backup
Download to internal SD
This is a pure stock rooted back up of ZVD

Boot into recovery
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
advanced-wipe dalvik cache
install zip from internal sdcard


reboot
Let me know if it works:D:confused:

Knew it wouldn't be that easy.."custom recovery" hmm
Just tried it..no go..pic is blurry but wiped data..cleared cache..and dalvik..and nope..curiosity was killing me..now we know.

If it's a pure stock backup, how do we install it if we can't clash the zip?

Lol..same here(remain stock) only change for testing purposes...I see from box everyone someone downloads the files and lets just say it is blown up ...hehe..its a hard way to get back to stock D but at least we have a way to get there until the devs do their magic:D

Exactly. i just finished ZVB now. Going to upgrade again to ZVD and MAKE MY DAMN BACKUP this time. And stay stock, rooted of course :D, until something comes out. Just dont wanna risk it. Even though everything has been great, I got a bad feeling. :/
 
Hell it even left my phone as it was JUST on ZVB now. Hells to the yes.

I we finally have the downgrade guide perfect ...see everyone downloading the files but no posts or questions...:thumbup::D
 
Yea i was trying a downgrade, but i did some file recovery magic and got my stock zvd back. Ima stop screwing around lol.
